Private Master and runtime
The private Master is the owner-controlled source of authority. A runtime projection is a smaller, replaceable file containing only the material selected for a particular AI and purpose.
Four record forms
- Card
- A bounded rule or preference approved to guide future behavior.
- Fragment
- Unfinished material worth preserving without allowing it to govern.
- Fog
- A genuine unknown or disputed point the AI must not invent through.
- Weather
- A real temporary condition with an expiry.
Scope
Castle-wide foundations apply broadly. Rooms hold context-specific continuity. One active Room is the safe default.
Owner control
Propose → inspect → accept, revise, defer, keep local, reject or delete.
Conversation is not approval. Nothing becomes governing continuity until the owner completes the trusted approval step.
Testing
The V1 evaluation model tests recognition, scope, source authority, uncertainty, temporary-state resistance, revision, deletion and portability. Results are published only after they are achieved.
Public build kit
The approved Foundation, schema, validator, exporter and three path implementations are published as part of the free core.
Remains private
- Private evaluation fixtures.
- Scoring weights and thresholds.
- Adjudication materials.
- Unpublished receipts and customer material.
